Fear of Losing You

Contributed by Dina on Monday, 12th April 2004 @ 12:25:38 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

You and you alone are my favourite dear
You've made my life so clear
I feel you so near
even if you're not really here.

I sometimes shed a tear
and get the feeling of fear
of losing you some day
I hope that day never comes
I hope I'd die so much before
cause my love keeps growing more & more.

Each and every day & night
you're always in my sight,
what have you done to me?
Was it the magic in the air
Was it the breeze of your hair
Come on say, it's not fair
I can't take it any longer, I can't bear
the fear of losing you.

So guide me to the truth
Take me to reality
tell me what does it take
to keep you forever and ever
cause I'd do anything and everything
to keep us forever together.

Quite sad but well-written, you described the fear of losing someone you hold very dear to your heart very well.

"When you've loved and lost someone close to you, you know what it feels to lose."

Nice write. I feel your emotions in this. Ahh the power of love. Even to a seasoned vet, it still causes one to ask so many questions about it's very exsistance. I like this one. Keep up the good work.
