The Ritual Of Love

Contributed by Rylo on Monday, 12th April 2004 @ 02:24:26 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

By lamplight
Embrace the moment of your enlightenment
As the heavens open up
For this is the ritual of love
Look into my heart and see the hunger
Then close your eyes, and speak in tongues
For our love will last forever
Let your mind enter me
And youll know where I want to be
While over your shoulder, I see our embrace in the mirror
And the picture could not be any clearer
Speak to me of nothing but pleasure
Then watch this night go on forever
Between love and logic lie a thousand choices
Just like the songs of the nightingale deep in the forest
As I run my fingers through your hair
This beauty is more than I can bear
Now taste my tears and live forever
For Ill be your one and only lover
By lamplight
Embrace the moment of your enlightenment
As the heavens open up
For this is the ritual of love

This is beautifully expressed and the imagery is very exciting. You weave your words well, Ron.
