Let not this life go to waste, By following lifes every taste, For within every worldly desire, There burns a rapid fire.
All fear death and pain, Yet some waste their lives in vain, Clear your hindrance and you will see, The plain foot of a deep blue sea.
Impermanent are all conditioned things, Even your lust-soaked flings, Reflect on what the great one said, And you will be a one whose impediments are shed.
Short is the life of human beings, Too long is the wheel of sansara to be seen, So work like your head is on fire, You will build a mind free from tire.
