When the night falls
My world does too.
I can't help but cry
For the things that you do
The hits hurt
But the bruises fade away
The screams are loud
But the words don't stay
The silence kills me
But its never for long
Its the trust thats broken
I've done you wrong.
But I didn't do anything
To be treated like this
Where is the love
That I truely miss?

| Heartbreaking poem. Nicely conveyed, it tells a story - one too many times heard. Very well done. And I'm glad this is about an "EX" boyfiend, ahhh I mean friend. |
