My darling dear has left me crying here
I wipe away my falling tears
And look over the rail on top of the pier
Why do they run when I'm forced to crawl
Why doesn't anyone return my call
I might as well just end it all
Just as I leap to the death that awaits
I hear a voice calling to me, I'm sorry I'm late
But I have already determined my fate
I freefall to the water and slip into shock
As I watch the waves crashing into the rock
I wish I was still standing up on the dock
Got myself in a situation I'll never get out
There's no time to cry, no time to shout
Missed him by a minute, eternal blackout.
