What I've Become (storypoem bout me)

As a child I wondered what I
Would become when I grew up.
A doctor? spacy lady? teacher?
Those were some of my choices to choose,
However none seem to fit so I wondered
Some more a veternairy?artist? famous singer?
All chocies I know I didn't fit in to
So one day I started to write it was
Mostly stories that I made up I thought,
At one point were cool.
Still it wasn't me then I tried to write poetry
I had no clue what it was or where to start
So I just tried my best and made up goofy poems I had no clue what I was doing I just did my best, I wrote my very first poem I titled it *You*I really liked it, it made me feel specail I felt cool moving in to more depths over the year's of continuing to grow up and changes in my life.
I've come to write with more emotion, more tears of Losing people close to me or hurting from living the ****** life of been alive but, people have told
Me "Carrie you have a gift" "You have
Talent" "Carrie you should write a book of your own"
I've touched so many people's lives it's something
I've always wanted to be remembered in some way I
Knew I will be loved when it's my time to leave this World to go to heaven.
Writing with my heart, tears, fears, whats inside my
World, family and the friends that I care about I
Sometimes wonder how I got this far without the ones who love me most with the faith I've been
Giving from god who's been my protector through Everything I've been put in to and had to get out now I know what I've become In this world without a doubt.

| 26 reads and not one post, let me be the first! Yyou write well, keep pooring your heart out onto paper, be honest with youself, and your poems, that's what makes a great writter. this piece was very personal, a life search through poetry... i liked it. good job! |
