Hear your voices through a wall, Mute the television so I can listen, Many harsh words are to be spoken, Result in a bitter realization, These two hearts appear to be broken.
You think I'm sleeping, Yet I hear your every word, And curl up here underneath my quilt, Trying to block out memories, Of my life that you both built.
I've never witnessed you like this, Do you always wait for my door to close, To discuss your end while I sleep? So in the mist of shadows, Out of my life you may creep?

This is beautiful and so heartfelt, my parents often wait till they think no-one can hear.
It seems things aren't as perfect as they seem.

Hmmm, reading this poem of yours remind me the song 'Family protrait' by Pink, the parents/family problems are always a big issue affect on the younger gennerations' lifes, very sad, but, (*sigh*) what can we do?...... |
