this love lies dying
and my heart lies dead
i'd like to paint a picture
in your head
of what you've done
of what you've said
and all the things
to my anger you fed
this love lies bleeing
and my heart lies sore
i'd like to leave you
but i keep coming back for more
and when you finally
walked out the door
it hurt so much
i crumbled to the floor
this love lies tattered
and my heart lies decaying
don't just sit around
it's my soul you could be saving
don't you want me back?
why are you waiting?
i don't understand
anything that you're saying
this love lies broken
and my heart lies blue
can't get much further under now
and all i'm left with is you
but are my emotions valid
are they true
or is this just because
there's nothing left to do
this love lies dead
and my heart lies grey
there's nothing but deceit
in the words that you say
there's no more thoughts
in which go astray
and no more of your kisses
to pass these long days
i lie dead
and you lie sad
i can't help
but go quite mad
it was your fault
you didn't realize what you had
and now i'm left to wonder
were you really all that bad?
