fidgit, I wonder?
What sort of blunder?
My budget's asunder,
It's ran yonder,
and further, and
furthermore,
you think YOU
are a part of it.
Gosh, can I afford
this posh life you adore?
must you always ask for MORE?!
Now the bed will only change shape
when I insert
a quarter,
My mind will only manipulate
at a quarter
to nine...
But still you stiffen your pigtails
with cornstarch
(to look like Pippi Longstocking)
and dance
on your toes, on my thumbs,
singing about
lucky pennies, thin dimes,
and nickels and cents
if you had any sense...
...you'd buy me a quarter
$55 cdn.

this Director in my head, yelling
