I live in my world, in my own mind
So out of reach, away from mankind
In this dark recess, my own imagination
Verging on the edge, of hell and damnation
I roam with my thoughts, like a lost soul
Trying to find light, from within this black hole
Scared of climbing out and what I might find
I don't want to escape, from within my mind
Within my mind, is a world of my own
A safe haven, a place to call home
No-one can hurt me, buried deep in here
So in my mind I stay, only myself to fear
