The lone sailor.
Sailed all day & night, Without a crumb to bite, Till his home, was out of sight. Alone with the stars and sea, Like a gaunt, solitary tree, Alone, wild and free. The monarch of his own boat, In search of a distinct port, Sailing through the silent waters A puckered black coat. Coiled within in his finite sphere, Circled by empty bottles of beer; Now replenished, by somber tears. Paddled till his arms were sore, Drenched the cloths he wore, As he neared, neared the earths core.

how can this world be better when it keeps getting darker? With each light that is snuffed, this life just gets a bit dimmer.
