Open your eyes
See the world
People care
or so I'm told
I am so oblivious
can't see the world I know
can't see the world in front of me
I'm afraid it doesn't show
If my eyes were open
I could see who cared
but I can't see the other side
I'm running cause I'm scared
When I look into your eyes
you look afraid like me
If you'd open your eyes
believe me you would see
There's a beautiful world
all around your soul
people care for all your thoughts
and this is all I know
don't forsake the one who cares
for she is who cares the most
don't look behind yourself
look forward, be sure to hold your post
