Ti amo (I Love You)

Contributed by starlight4215 on Saturday, 17th April 2004 @ 02:55:25 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

My love for you grows stronger with each passing day
Whenever we speak my heart begins to sing
My mind hurts from the constant thoughts of you
Will you ever realise the happiness that you bring ?

I long to be the one you return to after work
You know that you have my heart
My desire is only to be with you
It has been from the start

A few mere words from you
They give me so much pleasure
Hopefully one day you will see
I am a gift to treasure

I live my life for you
Somewhere out in 'cyber space'
Yet everytime I think of you
My heart begins to race

So all I can do is dream
Of the day your lips will tenderly kiss mine
When I can hold you in my arms
Then it will become reality, instead of being on-line

Hello Starlight and welcome to YPDC. I was really impressed with your poem. It was tender, sincere and so sweet. I hope you two get together face to face soon.
