blackfoot & gypsy

~*Sigsations*~

never shall i see his mezmerizing sweet smile again
alas, entire loving heart memories will always remain,

nor shall i again feel the wind in his hair
ahhhhhhhhhh the two of us were the rare pair,

that appaloosa foal he wanted so to raise or purchase
has long begone galloped through the looking-glass,

after twelve long years i am still quite un-able
to cease love for him; or give our fable label,

full of life & love was my blackfoot husband tormentor
yet in truth i believe his love is & was my dearest center,

why could i not, 'then', admit my whole vision??
vexed was i, to say it; would bring about realism,

in point of fact we lovers were quite parted by fate
truth being; i could not have changed his death date,

for in his heart at that time i wanted not pandemonium
in truth i could not have changed the world's equilibrium,

my gypsy heart now wishes him a blessed day above
for i shall now for-ever-do with-out my greatest love.

What a romantic yet woeful poem. Lovers parted by cruel fate. You know this would make a great novel. I honestly adore your poetry Ness for you move me every single time. Amazing.

This poem is so beautiful and yet significant. I enjoyed picking out the similes and metaphors of your writing, everytime I read it, I find new thought or ideas buried that i missed before. Wonderful~

Kisses,
