One wish for a love

Contributed by saveMEfromMYSELF on Saturday, 17th April 2004 @ 07:24:05 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I often think and often cry
For a weary love gone awry
Now he's gone with no goodbye

The one it did want most
My heart I denied, foremost
Now in memory he's just a ghost

Great times wow we did share
Remember lunch when you took my chair
Our odd talks they weren't fair

Not a year has gone past
Since I did see you last
Your image in fields of memories vast

Wishing on what could have been
Only brings to me scared skin
Of which soon I must trade-in

Did you know of what i wish
It would bring great anguish
If we could've been more than flirtatios

On this world you may be
But everyday I do not see
The way you use to look at me

Past events can't change
In present actions, we rearrange
A future that still seems out of range

A sad but beautiful poem. I hope ya'll can rekindle or another comes to fill the space.
I'm sure most can relate. so don't discourage
things will turn.
