The Original Evil

Contributed by SAT on Saturday, 17th April 2004 @ 11:15:57 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

The original evil
feeding off fears
of little kids at night
while lying in their beds
wondering what could be there
something in the closet
waiting to grab them
and pull them in tightly
or under their beds
geting ready to pull them down
and drag them under
to eat their fears
and devour their dreams
their hearts cry out silently
and their hands say invisible things
the sun can't see
til the clouds clear away
and the forcast says rain
for the next lifetime
the moon can't shine
until night does arrive
and sunny it will be for eternity
