I never thought I'd see the day
When you would look at me and say
You didn't want it to be this way
And you hope that in time I'll be ok
But now it's time to say goodbye
Though you said you'd never make me cry
I guess that was all just another lie
We never really could see eye to eye
My life is quite different now that you're gone
But I still think of you when I hear a love song
I'm a brave girl, and I'm gonna be strong
I thought that you loved me, I guess I was wrong.

| This is a very inspiring poem because it seems like it's all the stuff that you feel after a break up but most people (at least for me) its so overwhelmed they dont know what to say but you really captured it well |
