Heritage Day is a day to remember And is celebrated every September We should all cherish our past And make sure that it can last
Heritage is a very important word And should live on like a beautiful bird Heitage day is a special day And is beautiful in every way
All of us know about Heritage Day It is a day that comes our way Every year so we should not really fear And to enjoy it every time it is near
Our Heritage should endure So we can always remain pure Our Heritage should be plum For all generations to come
We should all remember our past Because it is disappearing very fast So what we should really page Is to remember our true Heritage

I didn't know about heritage day - as this must be an exclusively American occassion, if I am to guess. Good attempt a rhyme, ESM, with an interesting subject matter that informed and mildly entertained me.
I don't think you need to be quite so defensive about future posts, as there are other poets here with less talent . . . |

amusing...I would have given it a three just for the cuteness factor. guess that's a moot point..........................'higher than 1 or else' or else what? not allowed to celebrate? oh, well. |

Threats are of course a part of daily living but to be threatened to mark a poem. Sorry either a poem pleases or it does not. Apart from that I have never heard of a heritage day???
Try again with another poem this time without threats.
