Gentlemen and ladies lost their titles
and then forgot how to care.
As you flip through the pages and read the inscriptions
Images of what was dance through your head
Memories now that you have always considered dead.
Temporary happiness and a smile across your face
Thinking about his kiss
and how his lips taste
