A leak has sprung
Warmth trickels in
Slowly it satiates the expanse
Knee deep, it seems only a threat
But in a quick puff it releases its steam and permeates the cold
The cold, which once goverened this land,
Which set rules and regulations,
And once posessed authority
Is now being swallowed by something greater
In the pit of its stomach it wriggles and squirms,
Trapped by the walls and never to be released
Slowly it melts, and reduces to but a small puddle
And then gradually it shrinks until it is no more
Nothing but warmth remains
It tickles the air and emits sparks of fire
Seeds that had been sown long ago climb from their resting place, no longer dormant
What once was empty and cold now pulsates with life and victory

I read your poem twice and i'm still not sure what it is about but I thought the poem was really good to read. You have a way with words.
