A Night, Unlike Any Other
Seated by the hostess, I knew deep down, this was going to be a night, Unlike any other.
The food was amazing, As was the company I was sharing, This night with.
Dinner came, Dinner passed, It was off to dance the night away.
The music, Traveling freely through the would-be peaceful night. Deep vibrations from the amplifier, Shaking the ground with every beat.
As I look, Deeply into your big brown eyes, People around us begin to fade, 'Till they become as the scenery.
The music engulfs our senses, Our senses become as one.
As our eyes lock, Our body's dance as if controlled by a single force, One mind controlling two souls.
Hours roll by, Dusk became night.
What felt like a flick of a lightswitch, The music ended, It was time to go.
That night, After I took you home, I laid awake in bed, Reliving that night over in my head. The night, Unlike any other.
