Every time i see you,
My heart just skips a beat,
My eyes twinkle gladly,
How i wish our eyes would meet.
As you walk by, i really try,
To grab your attention fast,
You look away,no attention you pay,
And now my moment has passed
I feel to shy to ask you why,
Why you never respond,
And why you never look my way,
And always look beyond
I want to get to know you,
I want to speak my mind,
To tell you of my feelings;
'Love and hate combined'
See i love you, but i hate you,
I want you, then i don't,
I want to love you madly,
I do, but then i don't
I love you because you seem special,
But perhaps that's in my mind,
My heart tells me to be patient;
Who knows what it will find?
I hate you because you don't acknowledge me,you always walk straight by,
and leave me pondering the same old words;
'Why', i ask myself 'why?
I hate you simply because,
Your heart, i will never hold,
I'll never be able to kiss your lips,
a feeling richer than gold.
I hate you because i love you,
no sense it makes at all,
yet i need you and i want you,
without you i think i'd fall
So if perchance, you should glance,
When you see me again,
a simple smile would linger a while,
and gently ease my pain
