A Flood of memories
washes over me
Like the roaring waves
ofa raging sea
Memories
Some good some bad
Some are depressing
Others are sad
Some I dont want to see
The salt water flood
Makes it hurt
inside of me
Some memories I hate
And want to go away
But no matter how hard I try
The Flood stays
The Flood overwhelms me
The pain I can hardly bear
i want to get out
But the Flood doesn't care
