The chill in the air
So much harder to bear
There's nowhere I can hide
The silence it screams
So much louder it seems
Without you by my side
I want you to know
We only can grow
From the time we have to share
I want you to see
It's not easy for me
To get up the courage to care
But when you're beside me
I know I can't hide me
I open my heart to you
If this fire should burn
I can't ask in return
But I promise my heart to be true
Love has its surmises
Life's full of suprises
We must learn to seize the day
Though there's pain to endure
A chance taken's worth more
Than the one let slip away
