Tears fall like rain
As they fall twords the earth
But tears are for pain
And rain is rebirth
Like loving a your 1st
From friends to romance
They're memories forever
And you get only one chance
You try for a 2nd
And though rare, can be found
Understanding and caring
A light with a shroud
You see the light through the tears
And rain starts to fall
Hope comes from fears
As love becomes all

I thought the poem was excellent but I got stuck in the second stanza/first line--"Like loving a your 1st"
I'm not sure if its a typo or meant to be that way but if you reworded it or changed a couple of words this poem would be absolutely perfect.
