Cross My Heart

Contributed by paper-heart-hero on Wednesday, 21st April 2004 @ 01:03:55 AM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

A kiss goodnight from a long afternoon
A morning after still thinking of you
And I cant pretend that Im ok
When I wake up the same way everyday

Please give me a reason to leave this house
A reason to take this barrel from my mouth
These eyes wont close on their own
And these brains are better off blown

Catch me when Im falling
Bless this laceration
Start pulling at my frame
Spark my fascination
Cross my heart and hope to die for the last time
This has to be the coldest day in July

Honey I dont wanna be
Another page in your diary
Is that what its gonna be
Well have to wait and see
Ill be right here when the sun dies
Laughing like a child, when the moon takes the sky

Catch me when Im falling
Bless this laceration
Start pulling at my frame
Spark my fascination
Cross my heart and hope to die for the last time
This has to be the coldest day in July

Watch the fire consume us all
As we try to escape
Exhaust ourselves to a crawl
As the fire burns us away

I think I love you too much
I think I love you too much

That is...wow... all of it is wow... but that stood out the most for me. I could definitely relate and feel those words. I love it!
