Heart's Key
Why do you take Everything from me? My heart's been stolen And it's been abused Stolen by you Abused by you You took my heart You took my mind What else is yours? Another person destroyed For just yourself You take everything away Never returns the same
I'm a prisoner To you again My heart's been stolen Can't get it back In the end I can't get myself Back from you Within myself I find That I'm lost That I'm forsaken Without the Keeper To my heart He has it padlocked With the key Thrown away from me I can't find myself Without the key I can't find myself Without the Keeper Of the key
My mind is in ruin It's so manipulated I can't take it Not another day But I can't leave I'm the subject And the slave The Keeper holds My true identity And without it I'm lost another day The Keeper uses me And leaves questions Of why me?
I'm lost another day In a safe I'm lost another day Finding the key I'm lost another day I'm lost forever And the key unlocks Nothing in me
