Lying in my bed somewhat alone
but not completely
My many thoughts about my future
keep me company
The clock is ticking and my
time is running out
Flying solo forever--is this
what my life's about?
I've been living single for what
seems to be far too long
Got me evaluating, investigating......
What am I doing wrong?
I've treid and i've tried.....
Man! How many tries does it take?
How many times do I keep making
the same errors before realizing my mistake?
Maybe I should re-visit my past and handle things from a different perspective
Or maybe I should lower my standards;
Quit being so selective
But once i've settled, will I
truly be happy and satisfied?
And if I fail yet again,
will I be content with saying,
"At least I tried?"
