The layman lays himself to sleep In dreams he rides on clouds that weep Through the greenest forests by a bound and then a leap Over mountains high and in oceans deep.
The laymans quest runs far and wide The best and worst; they coincide Winning epic battles of his pride This walk hes taking is deep inside.
No words of wonder and no Wizards tales If you trust it enough happiness always prevails Storybooks and fairy tales land you here; a voice of sales You sleep to dream your layman quest; on your coffin hammer the nails.
Death runs rampant and dangerous Nightmares believed to be serious In a daze, he speaks as if delirious To fade away, the laymans quest ends mysterious.
