Waking up in the morning
Hiding the cuts from you
Damned to a life of hidden thoughts
Popping pills to keep my head straight
I'm up all night
You mentioned the bags under my eyes
People telling me who I am
What I'm going to be
I curl into a ball screaming
Praying for your touch
The eyes of the people staring
Scared and confused
My personal demons
Driving away my dreams
I'm stuck with my stomach turning
A craving for the blood to run down my arm
Running deeper and deeper into the dark
Which eventually feels safer and safer
Until finally....I let go
