painful memories intrude upon
your sad and tortured soul tearing away layers of your lovely angel wings
raw emotions ripping running rampant in your brain
cutting like a knife running
deep as the scars within your saddened soul
wounded though you may be
your words do not fall on deaf ears like the faithless lover's lie
sweet angel don't give up yet
if you're listening you should know
my heart goes out to you my dear
don't give up yet for you
may regret closing the door to your heart
there is so much more that you could share
you can make it through so go on and cry
i want to see more of your life as seen through your precious angel eyes
