I hate It

Contributed by poem_lover on Saturday, 24th April 2004 @ 02:37:17 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

I hate it when you say no
I hate it when you speak
I hate it when you smell like beer
I hate it when you drink
I hate it when you get high
and for some reason I hate it when you say good-bye
but most of all I hate myself for hanging out with you
'cause I know your not good for me
'cause you do what you do
you need to get some help
you need to get some courage
you need to get some self-esteem
you need to get a purpose
I am always here to help you
I am always here to lend a hand
but most of all, I am here to care
so, when you feel like you can't go on
when you feel like you're alone
remember that I am here to help you stay storng
and together we can beat this
no matter how long it takes
because we will be best friends,
and remember I will always be here for you.

Your poem shows the true beauty behind a friendship, and that like everything it requires work.

Good day.
