Here we are another time
Wasting away
Walking on this thin line
Silence awakens and overcomes
As I sit by your side
Staring cautiously into your eyes
Hoping that you dont find
The reality of my scars
And the depths of my fears.
And again I find myself
Questioning your love for me
Reminding myself of your words
While asking how can this be
Your words say so little
While your actions scream aloud
And I try to break the silence
Feeling disappointed that
You arent proud.
I fall asleep at night
Only to wake up sad
For the images that Ive seen
You dont realize what you have.
I loved you then
And I love you now
But do you feel the same
Will we make our vows?
Can you love me the same
The same as before
Before I walked away
Before my tears formed?
Can you love me unconditionally
Do I have you to myself
Or are we just wasting time
Delaying putting memories on the shelf.
Do you love me completely
And if so, then why
When the times you are with me
I feel like you want a good-bye
Ive given myself to you
In hopes that in return
You would do the same
But maybe theres more
I need to learn.
Like how you can question
If you could be happier
With some other girl
When Ive given all I have
To you with no questions.
I know in my heart
What it is that
I need to face
But cant bring myself
To do it
These tears are
Out of place.
It has never been me
To trust so willingly
To be so blind
While being able
To perfectly see.
The tension between us
Seems to grow with
Each passing day
As we sit here in silence
And you having nothing
To say.

well Cilla it seems as if u have a lot to say. I suggest u give this to Jeremy ( I think thats his name). Great poem... if u always find yerself getting hurt by him I suggest that u find someone more deserving of you and your love.
