the wings of an angel
were broken the other day
he took the wrong road
he went astray
too late could he change it
knowing what he done
thinking of the mistakes
counting them one by one
not knowing how much he caused
pain, hurt, and sorrow
not thinking what it would
bring to all his tomorrows
now all has been done
it's too late to change time
the only thing left
is to start a new climb
his wings will be mended
it will take more than a day
his only hope will be to
lead a honest life and never stray
