It's building up inside of me
The pressure of emotion
Love and hate entwined once more
Betrayal in my devotion
And I cry for fear of emptiness
But I want it all to leave
I want back the love that I once had
But can't make myself believe
I just want to shout, you know
Let it out, let it go
Before the sun sets in this sky
And I try to scream Your name
But it don't feel the same
Did I try too hard to live?
Did I...?
Did I let this fire die?
So I run out into hours of darkness
If only to break free
But these chains of blood and steel
Refuse to let me be
So I'm smothered by the shadows
Raped by a lustful night
And I lie here in my misery
No longer strong enough to fight
I just want to shout, you know
