Redneck sent to space

The Earth has secret heroes,
the files are hid some place.
This tale will be no different,
we sent a redneck into space.
Somehow aliens got the President,
they wanted to keep him as a pet.
The aliens said they'd hurt him,
if we sent up a threat.
So the Generals got together,
they needed a plan real fast.
But if they sent up soldiers,
they'd be taken out with blasts.
Soon one of them spoke up,
he said men with your permission.
My cousin knows a redneck ,
he'd be perfect for this mission.
So the army went to Kentucky
and they found him in the highlands.
He was working on his pick-up,
making hudcaps out of pie pans.
They put him in a spaceship,
offering him a gun and tracker.
But he refused them both,
he just took his hound dog and tobaccer.
The aliens said while laughing,
this the best that Earth can do?
This redneck is no threat
and they let him come right through.
Well the aliens were wrong,
the redneck took the whole ship over.
He used the tactics of the hills,
with the help of his dog Rover.
The President said now what,
think you can drive the ship?
The redneck said I reckon
and then stuffed his mouth with dip.
Back home the aliens were arrested,
they had confusion on their face.
They could'nt believe they were defeated,
by a redneck sent to space.

Watch it now... I'm a HOOSIER!! U know that is don't u? That's a Kentuckian that got lost on his way to Michigan LOL!!
I laughed all the way thru this... great poem... Loved it!!!
