Jesus went to the cross
So we would not be lost
He paid the total cost
For our sin, upon that cross
There is no way
We can ever repay
Jesus on this day
Except to pray
And ask Him in today
In to our hearts to stay
We may at times stray
From His way
And sin in some awful way
But if we pray
He will forgive us today
If only we will pray
Truly He will cast them far away
Thank you Father up above
For sending your one and only Son
Praise You Father in Jesus Holy name
