MISTAKES LEARNED

you were the first
i ever so loved
but sorry to say
i ****** it all up
my fear kept me away
my flesh torn away
feelings were there
i never could share
what they were
but my regrets
overshadowed
by simple facts
just because
you taught me
just how to live
and how to love
this beauty ive found
yet she the same
lacks the same love
but she the difference
of my happiness adored
my flesh apart
mind and soul both
totally diliberated
by this new love ive found
that i will seek
till she finds the will
to let me show
just how much she means
to someone like me
may on its way
and i say thanks to kay
for showing me
that love is true
with no bonds
and i must gain
what i seek anew
