Past the Line

Past the Line

The future holds
What we do not know
The world only knows
What it's been told
What's in store
Is for no one to know
The final ending score
To the death toll

Life goes on
In circles and ovals
But death goes in a line
If you cross that line
You are lost to the unknown
And if you never cross
You are stuck as you are
It's a lose, lose situation

You'll never know the answers
To your wondering
You are crawling
Away from your obligation
To live without regrets
You are running away
From everything

You need to turn around
See what you're missing out on
Because once you leave
You can never go back
You're in the great beyond
Past this drawn in line
That fate drew in the sand
Once you leave
You'll see everything

With clarity you'll know
What life you've given up on
And you'll live with regret
In eternity's grace
