Inside you I've come to see
all that I want my love to be
and though you'll never be mine
you've made her easier to find
I can't put into words
all that you are
as I fall from a distance
my heart breaks from afar
I've yet to meet a soul
with a more beautiful heart
matched only by your smile
which caught me from the start
I am truly in awe
after conversations we share
how freely you give,
how honestly you care.
All of this I've seen
behind brilliant blue eyes
pulling me to my knees
to thank god you crossed my life.
I've tried to keep this to myself
but these truths won't be denied
You are my definition of love
all that I want you have inside.
