Season of fear

Off the African Coast a killer is born. It spins itself into a rage, keeping its hatred bottled inside.
As it grows stronger, it sniffs the air seeking death and destruction. The winds get so violent they bleed outerbands. These outerbands act as scouts searching for a victim.
The center turns into a demon-like eye heading west. It's anger for man is fueled by its thirst for blood.
Soon it spots land.
In your home, the threat is real and your body fills with fear. The windows are covered and you sit and wait for Satan's fury.
The winds are soon singing Hells song and your house begins to shake. You cower in a corner and pray for your life.
Your worst fear turns real when your car explodes through the wall, pinning you underneath.
With no way to escape, you start gasping for air. As you struggle to survive, your chest cracks from the weight.
Seconds turn to minutes. Minutes turn to hours and your will to live is fading fast.
Just when you think it can't get any worse, the walls start to pull apart. The wood pops from the pressure and is sucked into the belly of the beast.
Finally, the winds die down and help arrives. The car is pulled from your chest and your prayers are answered.
The hurricane is gone and the horror is over.

I can only but marvel at their destructive force, we don't get hurricanes as such in England. When i see the T.V coverage of them it seems a million miles away, but you bought them to life right in front of me, a very good piece of work.

Living on the Louisiana and Texas coasts in the past I know about hurricanes. I have been through a category 3 & and 4 and they were bad enough. I don't see how anyone would ever make it through 5. I am so glad I am far up from the Texas coast and don't have to worry about those anymore. Just tornadoes, but they are rare in these parts.
