Stars shining through my window
I wonder if the stars are shining on you
The sun's gone to sleep
Though I'm still awake
I wonder if your eyes are open too
Lips longing to feel yours
Skin longing to touch yours
I'm longing for your voice in my ear
All I have left are the memories
And anything you felt you no longer feel for me
Your shadow lingers on my walls
Although your body's long gone
The way you once loved me echoes in this room
The way we laughed and smiled, kissed and touched
But what hurts the most is you lied
You left me all alone in love
And it still haunts my heart
Time will continue to pass
And in time I'll forgive
But I will never forget

I thought your poem was incredible.
Nostalgic, painful, loving and romantic.
Love can be painful at times.
I enjoyed reading this poem so much and I thank you for sharing it with us.
