The sun is finished for the day
As it slowly drifts beneath the
Mountains only to return when day has
The world finally falls into the hands of twilight
Billions of scattered stars
Lighting up the sky with light
The mysteries of the night come alive
Here where twilight consumes me
I lay and wait
Here where the night unfolds a story
At a slow and steady rate
Here is where you find me
A collage of cool colors dance in to the moons melody
Shooting stars flying across the sky
So fast they look like a whirlpool of glitter
Here where twilight consumes me
I lay and wait
Here where the night unfolds a story
At a slow and steady rate
Here is where you find me
Searching for the answer held within
Fighting reasons why it wont begin
Just sit back and wait until the stars meet
The words will spell out soft and discreet
Here where twilight consumes me
I lay and wait

Here is where you find me
The last bit of light goes out
Twilight draws itself to an end
I could never be known without
Twilight
