I never thought I'd find the stars
when I looked into your eyes;
I never thought I'd just smile and laugh
when I knew you were telling me lies.
I never thought my joy and peace
would be wrapped up in your laughter;
I never thought I'd wake up with you on my mind,
and think of you every second after.
I never thought that your smile
would bring me to tears;
I never knew... after all these years.
I never thought I'd get chills from your touch;
God I never knew I could love anyone this much.
