Walls silently stained with growing shadow The darkening day takes it's final bow Relentlessly, the sigh of evening approaches Life's fury now forced to accept peace
Soft as a mother's kiss, the night blankets the world Now comes the relax we admonished ourselves with As a gentleness quietly surrounds us with calm The din of busy does yield to the dark silent
Gradually, we surrender to the ebon numb Forgetfulness becomes the new priority Whatever mattered once, now treads to the past Unfettered rest takes it's place center-stage
Come...Waltz with the dream-weaver, is now the call Floating in lethargic bliss, we succumb To grasp those closed-eyed visions of the brass ring This road to tommorow beckons all life's travelers
A lunar melody breezes through our being Daily trials dissolve within this comfortable lilt Satiny warmth directs the orchestral reverb And so we recede to a pleasant refresh
