You don't call
You don't write
I anticapate everynight
Like some under rated puppy
Just waiting to find you
So I can make you happy
You reply
By short and out of reach
No connection between you and I
As I wish you would teach
Me
I call to the dark
For my voice to ride the calm cool air to you
I pray in the sunless day
Hoping it's not to late
But
You don't call
You don't write
As eccepted another night
Like some old teddy
with your blanket
I'd love you to find me
Your reply
If any, always a day late
No connection between you and I
There's just a gate
No sweet ecstacy
In compassion or love
No connection between you and I
As I walk below, you fly above
In my sunless day
I await for you
By summer's edge
I await endless
For you to call
