I sit here waiting for a sign. Thinking it's time that the stars allign. In the moon I can see your reflection. Wherever you are, with your beautiful complection. Still thinking of all the past that has occurred. Waiting still, just to give you my word. That everything I do, being so true, You must realize was all for you. I hate it when I can't talk. No words to give, maybe I'll just walk. Away from here, I don't want to trouble you. Why did I give in, now I'm the fool. A fool for you. I'm a fool for all the things I've thought, About you and me, together is what I sought. Too bad I never figured out, In my mind, there never was a doubt. Maybe you felt the same way, how was I to know? I used to wanna take you and go, Someplace and I still do now. But now I know I don't know how. To win you over, anything I'd still do...... It's to bad though, I'm a fool for you.

She'll never know unless you find your voice. Send her your words if you can't bring them to the surface verbally. Or you'll end up like me - running into your truest friend, years after you would have been so much more, if only you'd spoken up.
I liked your poem because you reminded me of that friend, who I just ran into about a month ago after not seeing him since I was 15 - I'm 26 now! I have wanted to write about the encounter, but have been at a loss. Maybe you have helped me to find the words....
Good luck to you and thanks for sharing!
