fire well lit, burning in a blend of yellow & red, Clouds of smoke twirling, entangled in large loops. Rain drops freezes in the midst air with each flash of lightning, A fire still burning under the gray skies, soon to be extinguished.
They dance with the beat of drums, still, as the burning fire, And I, the undetected soul, observe the carousing in stealth. Drenched, from head to toe by the pouring rain, A fire long burnt out, an ashtray within the green grass.
Hands up in the air, gyrating the thinning gray smoke, Muscular arms decorated by natures gifts, Sweat hurtling down in colorless thin lines, As they dance around the once-dazzling fire.
Thunder, lightning, rain, a menacing threesome in war, Clashing with each others decadence, Ignorant to the partying entity stranded within. Yet they dance, still.
Six-toed feet slap against the dank grass, Emitting a comical sound with each hit, Barely reaching their ears, garbed completely by colorless fluid, As they dance with lifting exultation.
I emerge whilst lightning was contemplating to abate, When thunder had won its sole battle, its petite pride, When rain was retreating in furtiveness. Yet they dance, still.
My voice is left unheard after the first call, Circling alongside their beefy structures in dance, Whilst I stand as wet dog, a dot outside their circle of levity, In a glimpse of dread and interest.
