Joy; love; lust Up on the hill waiting; never finding new things, Jus' the same ol', same ol' nonsense Trying to do new things; Never comprehending; Dirty; nasty; crummy; where does the grime and gore come from? Trash every which way you turn, Streets filled with filth and the air with polution slimy; slippery; wet My life sliding through my fingers With the blink of an eye, Your changing age, Growing older, and most growing wiser. Maturity; Integrity; Honesty You learn these as life goes on Hopefully at a young age, maybe not Hate; Racism; Horror Never knowing what to expect when you turn around! LIFE GOES BY WITH THE BLINK OF AN EYE!

this is a pretty short, yet true summary of life i feel. from love and/or lust to the slow deterioration of our planet (polution) to growing old and wise (maturing) to hate... and especially "never knowing what to expect when you turn around" ... i know there's a LOT more to life than these things, but these are things we have to deal with day in and day out... excellent read! |
