A trip in my head

I took a trip in my head today, didn't like what I saw. In the darkest corners of my mind, I found my happiest memories, but they were locked away, unreachable, I tried to get to them, the closer I got, the farther they were.
I went down another path, found my worst memories, and feelings, I tried to get away, but they overcrowded me, overpowered me, crushed me until I couldn't breathe. I screamed and cried. No one could help me, I begged for someone, anyone, but nobody came.
And then I woke up, only to find, I was dying, on the inside as well as out. The blood flowed down my wrist, and onto the floor.
When the bad memories, overpower the good, the bad thoughts, erase the good feelings you once had, then you are better off dead.
